2022 (Cheesy) Reflection

As I sit here writing this, I am Covid positive.  I have been for 2 weeks.  Which has given me a lot of time to reflect and also look to the future.  I'd like to touch on both here in this blog post.

First, I need to say that I am incredibly proud of what Zoop has accomplished to date.  You can read about some of our highlights in our previous blog post.

As an entrepreneur, this is my second startup in the world of comics.  I was fortunate enough to sell my first company a few years back.  But, being able to compare the two, seeing what we've been able to accomplish with Zoop really reinforces how sure I am that we are on the right track and will be a force in crowdfunding, comics, and more for a long time to come.  We have only been live as a platform for 18 months at this point, but we have seen incredibly promising growth.

Going forward, we have so much lined up for 2023 already and the potential is insane!  I wish I could share more, but we all know how secretive an industry comics can be! Crowdfunding is an ever growing space, and is becoming more and more the "go-to" for creators looking to put their work out and make some money in the process.  On top of giving some creators their best campaigns to date, we also have creators coming back to do second campaigns with us, which really feels like we're doing something right.  You'll be seeing those popping up this year as well.

And while some projects are moving slower than others, we've gained some major momentum on those slower ones too!  2023 is looking like the year of catching up, and releasing some of those long overdue projects!

I realize we can't please everyone all the time. We are doing our best to make sure that not only are the creators that we work with happy, but we want all the supporters who come to Zoop to have a positive experience as well.  Our goal moving forward is to make sure that priority is understood by all.

Not sure exactly why I wrote this, but feeling a bit mushy, and wanted to address everyone during this time of the year.  The end of one year, the beginning of another.  And where we go from here is exciting as hell!
